Imidacloprid 17.8% SL is a systemic inseccide used to control a wide range of insect pests, especially those that feed by sucking plant sap, like aphids, whiteflies, and thrips. It also helps control termites and other pests that may damage crops or wood.
How it works:
Imidacloprid 17.8% SL works by interfering with the nervous system of insects. It blocks the niconic acetylcholine receptors, which are essenal for nerve transmission in insects. This disrupon leads to paralysis and eventually death of the targeted insects.
Agricultural:
Imidacloprid 17.8% SL is used in various crops to protect them from insect pests, including coon, paddy, sugarcane, vegetables, fruits, and other crops.

Horcultural and Ornamental Plants:
It can be used to protect ornamental plants and trees from pests like aphids, whiteflies, and other sucking insects.

Termite Control:
Imidacloprid 17.8% SL is also effecve against termites, making it useful for structural
protecon and wood treatment.
Mode of Applicaon:
Imidacloprid 17.8% SL can be applied as a foliar spray, soil applicaon, or basal stem
spray/drench. It is rapidly absorbed by plants and distributed

throughout their
ssues.
Dose : 1-1.5 ml / liter of water.
